Job Advert: Bookkeeper & General Administrator

Position: Bookkeeper & General Administrator
Location: London Liverpool Street
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-focused Bookkeeper & General Administrator to join our team.

This is a varied role, combining day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities with general administrative support. The ideal candidate will be confident working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
  • Process invoices & receipts
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Maintain organised records and documentation
  • Handle general office administration
  • Respond to emails and telephone enquiries
  • Prepare documents, reports and spreadsheets
  • Liaise with suppliers & customers
  • Provide general support to the management team as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in bookkeeping and general administration
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiar with bookkeeping/accounting software
  • A good communicator with a professional manner
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to take on a variety of tasks

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Relevant experience with Sage 50 & Paperless would be an advantage.
