Bookkeeper/ Management Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Henley-on-Thames - £28,000 to £36,000 per annum base - AAT Qualified or ACA/ ACCA early studier
My client is an established and high-growth Accountancy Practice of over 15 years providing Audit, Accounts Prep, Outsourcing, Tax and Advisory services for a huge number of individuals and businesses across the Home Counties and London with their office based in Henley on Thames.
This client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper/ Management Accountant to join their Outsourcing function to provide services across monthly bookkeeping, monthly VAT and quarterly management accounts production across their varied client portfolio.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Daily Bookkeeping using Xero including bank reconciliations and processing client invoices
- Reviewing bookkeeping prepared by other team members and juniors
- Preparing and posting monthly wages journals
- Monthly accounts reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing and filing monthly and quarterly VAT Returns
- Preparing CIS returns
- Training clients on Xero

Requirements:
- AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA early studier. They will consider QBE candidates.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accountancy Practice environment
- Clear recent experience with end-to-end practice bookkeeping, managing a bookkeeping portfolio and experience preparing VAT returns.
- Previous experience preparing management accounts is desirable but not essential. Training can be provided.
- XERO Certified or at least 2 years using Xero as a bookkeeping system
