Salary: £32,000.00 - £35,000.00 per year (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (Standard office hours)

About Us
Studio Spaces is one of East London’s most dynamic creative venues and event spaces. We host a diverse range of operations, from high-profile corporate hires and film shoots to renowned late-night events. We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our busy Wapping studio office.
The Role
This is a finance-led position with office management responsibilities. It is ideal for an autonomous professional confident in taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping processes while keeping internal operations running smoothly. You will work closely with senior management, internal event teams, and our external accountants.

- Ledger Management: Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, including purchase and sales ledgers.
- Payments: Process invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments accurately and on time.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts daily/weekly and ensure financial records are up to date.
- Payroll & Reporting: Assist with payroll preparation, liaise with external accountants, and support monthly budget tracking and cash flow visibility.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain clean, accurate, and organized financial documentation.
Office Administration & Operations
- Facilities: Oversee daily office operations, including ordering supplies and managing facilities.
- Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for staff, suppliers, and visitors; assist event teams with administrative tasks.
- Systems: Maintain digital and physical filing systems, and proactively implement improvements to office processes.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Criteria:
- Experience: Strong, demonstrable bookkeeping experience.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 3 (or higher), or equivalent certified accounting knowledge.
- Software: Hands-on proficiency with modern accounting software (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks).
- Tools: High confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Workspace.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Compliance: Valid Right to Work in the UK.

- Experience working within the events, hospitality, creative industries, or live music/nightlife sectors.
- Experience supporting finance operations within a fast-paced, growing small business.
