Bookkeeper (Remote UK)
Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support accurate financial record-keeping and day-to-day bookkeeping activities. This is a great opportunity for someone at the entry level who has a good understanding of bookkeeping principles, enjoys working with numbers, and can maintain accurate records while working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Record income, expenses, invoices, and payments
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain organised financial documentation and records
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports
- Ensure information is recorded accurately and confidentially
- Work independently while meeting agreed deadlines

Requirements
- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial records
- Good Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work accurately with confidential information
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant bookkeeping, accounting, or finance education/experience is beneficial
