Role: Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
Sector: Creative Agency
Location: London SW1
Permanent: Part-Time 3 days per week (or approx. 22-24 hours spread across 4-5 days)
Salary: £45-50k pa FTE (pro rata for part-time)
Reporting to: Fractional Finance Director

VisionFR is delighted to be working with an Independent Global Branding agency, based in the UK with a growing US presence to find them a part-time Bookkeeper/Management Accountant.
It is envisaged that the role will be three days per week although this can be spread across 4-5 days if that suits you. You would be reporting into a Fractional FD and have day-to-day responsibility for the transactional data entry, balance sheet reconciliations and production of the management accounts.
You would also business partner with the account handling team to assess and review monthly revenue recognition and WIP billing etc.

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
- Manage all accounts payable and receivable activities across the company.
- Daily accounting including supplier payments, sales invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit card and expense processing.
- Weekly cash reports and credit control status.
- Month end close, producing management accounts (P&L & Balance Sheet)
- Partnering with project leads regarding forecasts, revenue recognition and invoicing processes.
- Partner with our US finance team to run payroll
- Treasury and Working Capital, such as control over foreign currency bank accounts, proposing relevant FX trades and completing WC management reporting and forecasting – supported by fractional FD
- Preparation of year-end audit file. Liaison with external auditors and tax specialists
- Liaising with payroll bureau and benefits provider to run monthly payroll
- Prepare VAT returns and PAYE, payroll taxes etc.
- Supporting operational teams with answering finance-related queries, assisting with ad hoc project work

Skillset of the Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information, simply
- Previous SME background with a marketing/creative agency
- Confident to challenge on all financial matters and be all over the detail
- Familiar with Paprika accounting software
