About the role
You’ll be based in our Finance Department in Bury St Edmunds, working as part of the Finance Team as a Bookkeeper.

- Using Xero software
- Data Entry to Trial Balance
- Purchase Ledger
- Bank Reconciliation
- VAT preparation
- Coding of Debit Card Transactions
- Analysis creation and reporting
- Assistance with Sales Ledger and debt collection
You will process and code all transactions within the debit card platform with precision, following set procedures to ensure that transactions are correctly evaluated and processed before being exported into the Xero accounting system.
The person we’re looking for
We're looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper to join a vibrant Finance team. You'll play a key role in keeping the financial processes accurate and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys precision work, and is confident handling conversations about finance.

Experience
- Due to the nature and responsibility of the role, applicants must have a minimum of three years’ bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Xero an advantage but not essential if used to other bookkeeping software.
