About The Role
We are partnering with a well-established practice based in Lisburn to recruit a dedicated Bookkeeper/Accounts Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess relevant practice experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles. Essential qualifications include ATI (Association of Taxation Technicians) qualification or an equivalent certification. Experience liaising with clients and managing bookkeeping duties is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation and deadlines.
- Managing bookkeeping duties for a diverse portfolio of clients, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Providing support and advice to clients on financial and tax-related matters, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Learning and applying relevant legislation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Gaining exposure to various accounting systems and software to enhance technical proficiency.
- Assisting with other accounting duties as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.
- Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your skill set and knowledge base.
