Gideon Franklin Ltd is a corporate finance advisory firm based in Abingdon in Oxfordshire with a focus on Japan-related M&A and post-merger integration. The company is seeking a part-time bookkeeper.
Key Activities
- Entry of transactions in Kashflow
- VAT returns
- Annual account preparation
- Liaison with the company’s external accountancy, payroll, pension and IT companies
- GDPR compliance
- HMRC correspondence
- Company House returns
- Issuing of invoices
- Client emails
- Bookkeeping for CPD, a group company

Pay
Based on hourly rate commensurate with experience
Time
- Work hours are flexible and vary - expected minimum of 16 hours/month
- Regular meetings every two weeks with CEO
- Meeting in person at least once/month
Qualifications
- Experience in preparation for annual accounts
- Accounting software – Kashflow or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with foreign exchange accounting
- Strong communications skills with clients, contractors and employees
- Interest in the activities of the company
