Location: Hybrid Working – London W1U (Minimum 2 days in office - 5 days during probation)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000

In August 2026, BKL acquired Dales Evans, bringing together two firms that share a commitment to delivering exceptional client service through trusted relationships, practical advice, and a deep understanding of the businesses and people they support.

This role offers an opportunity to join the Dales Evans team, based in their Baker Street office, while benefiting from the wider opportunities, expertise, and support available across the BKL Group.

About BKL

BKL is a Top 40 accountancy and advisory business supporting a diverse client base, from entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to ambitious owner-managed businesses and multinational groups. With a legacy spanning over 130 years, we’ve evolved into a modern, purpose-driven business that balances profit with impact.

We are proud to be a certified B Corp, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, transparency, and responsible governance. As a member of DFK International, we support clients locally and internationally with cutting-edge expertise and a personal touch.

We believe all clients deserve the same level of care, innovation, and excellence.

About the Team

You’ll be joining our Business Management team, a group of 8 individuals, part of a wider staff of 65 people at Dales Evans, who have now joined forces with BKL.

The team works closely with a wide range of artists, managers, and producers. Along with vloggers, actors, models, and others in the entertainment business, supporting them with day-to-day bookkeeping, and tour accounting.

We pride ourselves on being experienced in handling the financial management, accounting, taxation, VAT, royalties, and tour accounting and offer a flexible hybrid working approach, study support, and exposure to progression routes.

A Message from the Hiring Manager

I’m really excited to welcome someone new into our team. You’ll find a team that’s ambitious but down-to-earth, where people care about doing excellent work and about each other. Working in a collaborative and meritocratic environment. If you’re curious, proactive, and ready to grow, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Opportunity

The Bookkeeper/Touring Assistant will provide day-to-day operational, administrative, and accounting support to the wider Business Management team. The role ensures timely delivery of client work, smooth internal workflow, and high-quality financial administration across a portfolio of touring, artist, and entertainment clients.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will:

  • Financial Administration & Processing
    • Assist with payment runs, including preparing backup, verifying approvals, and compiling support for touring and other clients.
    • Process invoices, monitor approval chains, and maintain payment tracking logs.
    • Support bookkeeping tasks including posting expenses, income, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
