Boomi Platform Engineer (Integration Developer / Boomi SME)

Location: Manchester (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Rate: Inside IR35 £450.00 - £500.00

Clearance: BPSS

If you enjoy building reliable integrations that keep business-critical systems running smoothly—and you want to apply hands-on Boomi expertise across the full integration lifecycle—this could be a great fit. Our Client is hiring for a reputed client and is looking for a Boomi expert who can design, develop, support, and continuously improve integration solutions in a busy, high-impact environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform
  • Maintain and enhance existing integrations, while delivering new solutions for changing business needs
  • Configure and support Boomi connectors across enterprise applications, databases, cloud services, and third-party systems
  • Support integrations across business-critical areas such as time management, Salesforce, user access synchronisation, and digital documentation (and more)
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues—investigating integration failures, connector configuration, data flows, mappings, access, and connectivity
  • Analyse Boomi logs, audit reports, error reports, and email alerts to identify root causes and drive resolutions
  • Support Boomi deployments across development, test, QA, and production environments
  • Perform administration and maintenance of DEV, QA, and PROD environments
  • Contribute to integration documentation, knowledge transfer, support procedures, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on Boomi platform experience, including developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting integrations
  • Strong Boomi integration support experience, particularly troubleshooting failures and resolving production issues
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Boomi connectors for multiple systems and applications
  • Practical low-code development experience using Boomi's interface to build scalable, maintainable integration processes
  • Solid integration design understanding, including orchestration, scheduling, data transformation, and error handling
  • Confidence working with monitoring and error handling via logs, audit/error reports, and alerts
  • Familiarity with integrations hosted on Azure VMs or similar cloud-based infrastructure
  • Experience operating within an ITIL-aligned environment (incident and change support)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain integration issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
