Aircraft Engine Borescope Inspector
Specialist inspection team | CAA, EASA and FAA Part-145 Approved Organisation
Location: Wales / Hybrid
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (depending on the engine approvals held)
Travel: Predominantly UK, with occasional trips into Europe
The Role
Picture a business that has spent more than 24 years earning its place on the world's engine stands. A CAA, EASA and FAA Part-145 Approved Organisation, it specialises in aircraft engine borescope inspection and blend repair, and it has supported airlines, MROs and aircraft leasing companies across the globe — delivering sharp technical inspections and end-of-lease support on a wide range of commercial aircraft engines.
Continued growth means a new seat on its specialist inspection team, and it is looking for an experienced Aircraft Engine Borescope Inspector to take it.
This is a role for someone who thrives on independence — working at customer locations, turning what the borescope finds into clear technical reports, and representing the business with confidence in front of the people who rely on it.

What the Inspector Will Be Doing
- Conducting detailed borescope inspections on commercial aircraft engines
- Supporting end-of-lease and lease transition inspection projects
- Assessing engine condition in accordance with OEM and AMM requirements
- Producing clear, accurate and professional inspection reports
- Representing the company at customer facilities worldwide
- Working closely with airline, MRO and leasing company representatives
What the Company Is Looking For
Essential
- Current approval and recent experience conducting borescope inspections on LEAP-1A/1B, CFM56 Series, V2500 and PW1100G engines
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently at remote customer locations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe reporting tools
- Experience using the Mentor MViQ borescope system
- A team-oriented, safety-focused approach
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and internationally

Highly Desirable
- End-of-lease or lease transition inspection experience
- Additional engine type approvals
- Previous airline, MRO or aircraft leasing experience
Applicants without relevant aircraft engine borescope inspection experience are unlikely to be shortlisted.
