We are currently seeking a Retail Manager UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden as part of our dynamic team in Northern Europe, based in London.
How you will contribute:
The Retail Manager, reporting to the General Manager Northern Europe, assumes the responsibility for the oversight of the retail network in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Sweden. Tasked with the leadership, inspiration and development of the team, your primary objectives include the achievement of sales and profitability targets, the provision of elevated service to clients, and the formulation of retail and sell-out strategies in accordance with global or EMEA directives and local objectives.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Leadership and People Management
- Convey the Bottega Veneta vision and mission, corporate message in an engaging way, motivate and inspire the team
- Identify & develop retail talents through setting development plan, coach and give feedback
- Provide coaching to Store Managers on their management skills
- Establish effective and regular communication channels to engage the team
- Create and promote a positive and energetic working environment
- Ensure regular store new joiners follow up and collect feedback from Store Managers on their performance
- Conduct the team's Performance Management and make sure relevant actions plans are set

Sales Management
- Identify and maximize the business of your area and achieve your sales targets
- Set the monthly store targets
- Identify the retail category opportunities in order to propose special incentives
- Define, propose, identify correct staffing for the Stores
- Analyze sales data, investigate the reason behind, plan and execute follow up to enhance sale performance
- Consolidate and share best practice amongst retail network
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and Visual Merchandising team on product forecasting to meet customers’ needs and maximize sales potential
- Be aware of competitors’ activity, conduct Mystery Visits on competitors, develop effective networking across the Area
Client and service management
- Maintain and elevate store service standards by educating store teams on client service culture excellence
- Ensure the stores cultivate and grow their client base and propose in-store engagement plans to maximize results
- Create individual specific store "customer relationship building" tactics to surprise customers
- Partner with the Client Development Manager to set CRM KPIs and work together to guide and motivate the retail teams to achieve them
- Follow up with Store Managers on customer complaint handling, ensure excellent service is provided to customers, and handle escalated complaints as needed
- Proactively identify, recommend, and support the execution of local client acquisition opportunities, partnering with Store Managers to develop initiatives such as local events, strategic partnerships, community engagement activities, and other market-specific actions to attract new customers, expand the client base, and increase brand awareness.

Retail Operations
- Uphold and respect Bottega Veneta’s standards and procedures (visual, merchandising, maintenance, grooming, stock, etc.) and ensure operational excellence across your store network
- Ensure stock organization, accuracy and availability within your area
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to implement new projects rolled out in your market aimed towards greater operational excellence and proactively suggest ways of improvement and best practices
