In London, we own and operate NEON at Battersea Power Station, located in one of the city’s most exciting new cultural destinations. Our current exhibition, Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold, runs until 3 January 2027.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Box Office Supervisor to support the day-to-day ticketing and box office operation for Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold.
The Box Office Supervisor plays an important role in ensuring the smooth running of our ticketing and visitor entry operation, providing an efficient, welcoming and high-quality experience for every visitor.
Working closely with the Duty Managers and Marketing Director, the role will oversee the day-to-day box office operation, support the wider visitor experience team and ensure staff have the information, systems and resources they need. You will confidently handle customer enquiries, resolve ticketing issues and support ticket sales, promotions, group bookings and other commercial initiatives.

This is a hands-on role in a busy live environment, so we are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable making decisions and solving problems as they arise. You will need to remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly and help motivate colleagues to deliver consistently excellent customer service. Experience within a theatre, museum, gallery, attraction or live event environment would be particularly welcome.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Duty Manager to support the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of the Box Office, ensuring staff are informed, equipped and prepared for the day ahead.
- Act as the senior point of contact for day-to-day ticketing enquiries and issues during operating hours.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to implement ticketing initiatives, promotions and offers, and run offer reports as requested.
- Liaise with our ticketing partners and support the administration and troubleshooting of ticketing activity.
- Ensure ticketing system errors, operational issues and customer service escalations are identified, recorded and reported to the Venue Director and Marketing Director.
- Handle visitor complaints confidently and professionally, resolving issues wherever possible and escalating significant matters to the Marketing Director when appropriate.
- Book in complementary tickets for VIPs, Media, partners and support with other general box office administration.
- Respond to customer enquiries by email relating to tickets, bookings and general exhibition information.
- Ensure the Box Office team is kept up to date with current pricing, promotions, ticket products and visitor information.
- Undertake other reasonable duties relevant to the role as required.

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in a box office, ticketing or admissions role.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service skills and experience resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Ability to think on your feet, solve problems and remain calm under pressure.
- Confident and effective communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience of sales reporting, reconciliation and general box office administration.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively across ticketing, marketing and venue operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
- Experience using the Fever ticketing platform would be an advantage.

- Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until January 2027
