Branch Manager (Qualified Dispensing Optician)
Location: Addlestone
Reports to: Area Manager
Salary: £37,132 + extensive bonuses

At Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care, we're looking for an ambitious Dispensing Optician to join our Addlestone practice as Branch Manager. Whether you've already gained some supervisory experience or you're ready for your first management position, we'll provide the support, training, and development needed to help you succeed.

The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the practice while driving growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service
- Creating a positive and supportive branch culture
- Building strong customer relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Driving branch performance through effective planning and execution
- Monitoring business objectives and identifying opportunities for growth
- Managing branch operations and ensuring excellent standards across all areas
- Supporting colleague learning and development within the practice
- Working closely with your Area Manager to achieve both individual and business goals
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician who is passionate about people, patient care, and personal development.
You'll ideally have:
- A Qualified Dispensing Optician qualification
- Full GOC registration
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, proactive approach to leadership
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business performance
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and support others
- A desire to learn, grow, and build a career in management
Previous management experience is welcomed but not essential. What's most important is your ambition to develop as a leader and your commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
