Role Description
The Branch Manager role at Jewson in Llanelli is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading day-to-day branch operations. This includes:

The Branch Manager will:
- Drive sales performance
- Monitor branch financials
- Implement local business development activities to grow revenue and margin
The role involves:
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements
- Promoting Jewson’s product range and value-added services to customers
- Supporting talent development within the branch, fostering an inclusive, performance-focused culture
Qualifications
- Leadership and people management skills, including experience supervising teams, setting objectives, and supporting performance and development.
- Customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a track record of delivering professional support to trade and retail customers.
- Commercial awareness and sales skills, including experience managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, and contributing to business growth.
- Operational and organizational skills covering stock control, scheduling, logistics coordination, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Previous experience in builders’ merchants, construction, or a related industry is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with basic IT systems and point-of-sale tools, and readiness to learn Jewson and STARK systems and processes.
- Valid right to work in the UK and the ability to work on-site at the Llanelli branch; a full UK driving license is an advantage.
