Branch Manager – Norwich Branch

Our Norwich branch, offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual to lead and develop a well-established customer base.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our Norwich branch. This role will be key to driving the growth of the branch, enhancing customer relationships, managing the team, and overseeing daily operations to ensure excellent service delivery. If you have experience in electrical wholesale and a passion for leadership, this is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Build, Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve sales and operational goals. Conduct training, performance reviews, and provide mentorship.
  • Sales Growth & Profitability: Drive sales initiatives and market engagement to increase branch growth. Take full responsibility for sales, profits, and P&L management.
  • Customer & Supplier Relations: Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with both customers and suppliers to maximise business opportunities.
  • Operations Oversight: Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, including managing sales orders, invoicing, stock management, and customer credit limits.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the efficient organisation and management of stock, ensuring timely order fulfilment and inventory control.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in the electrical wholesale industry with a solid understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • An effective leader with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills, with the ability to analyse and manage branch performance.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Able to manage pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of successfully leading teams.
  • A track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Full UK driving licence.
