Branch Manager - Fluid Power, Hydraulics & Pneumatics

Outline: A fantastic opportunity to join a leading UK Distributor within the Fluid Power, Hydraulic & Pneumatic industry. Looking for an enthusiastic and professional Branch Manager to lead a strong team.

The role:

As the Branch Manager, you will be running the branch and managing 5 people including a Field Sales Representative, Office Admin person, Stores Supervisor, and 3 Store people.

  • You will be involved in stock takes, ordering stock, managing the branch, and making sure everything is running smoothly.
  • The branch is involved in selling Hydraulics 40% and Pneumatics 60% - mainly components such as Valves, Cylinders, Couplings, Tubes, Hoses, Fittings, etc.
  • The branch deals with some OEM’s & End Users as well as a lot of MRO End Users.
  • The branch turned over £900k-£1 million last year and they are looking to maintain and grow the turnover.

The ideal person:

  • Ideally someone with experience of Hydraulics and Pneumatics or at least 1 of the 2.
  • MUST have some fluid power knowledge.
  • Experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Internal Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Field Sales Representative, and similar would be considered.
  • Hard working, driven, self-motivated, good people person, able to hit the ground running.
