Payout: $73,041 – $109,562 annually (based on experience) + Incentive potential
Role Overview
The Branch Manager II is responsible for leading the daily operations of a retail banking branch while driving sales performance, operational excellence, and exceptional client service. This role oversees branch staff, consumer and small business banking activities, lending, compliance, and business development to achieve branch growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train, and supervise branch staff while overseeing day-to-day branch operations.
- Achieve branch sales and operational goals through active participation in sales management initiatives and performance programs.
- Develop new deposit and loan business while strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Build business opportunities by participating in community outreach and networking activities.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance observations, team huddles, and skill-building activities to develop sales effectiveness.
- Perform outbound business development calls to understand client financial needs and identify appropriate banking solutions.
- Oversee the sales and servicing of consumer and business credit cards, treasury management services, account analysis, and merchant services.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, security procedures, and applicable government regulations while driving successful branch sales campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- NMLS registration required.
- Minimum of 4 years of bank branch leadership and operations experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience leading teams, projects, or processes.
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products, services, branch operations, and consumer lending.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, relationship management, cross-selling, and referral generation.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal banking laws and regulations.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
