Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS)

JPS is a brand within Stark UK, specializing in providing solutions for the Public Sector, primarily Housing Associations and Local Authorities, as well as maintenance contractors.

Location: Bournville, West Midlands

Hours: Mon to Fri – 7.30am to 4.30pm

Requirement: All applicants must hold a valid Full UK Driving License.

About the Role

We are seeking a Branch Manager to initially work alongside the current Branch Manager before taking on full responsibility for the store. The role involves managing a small team, with a focus on stock management, product availability, monitoring van spares, arranging deliveries, and, most importantly, delivering an excellent service to our clients and their tradesmen.

A good knowledge of building materials is preferred, which could come from a background in roofing, plumbing, builders’ merchants, trade merchants, or a DIY outlet.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is crucial to the performance of this contract. We are looking for someone with managerial experience, good communication skills and commercial awareness, a good understanding of building products, who promotes an inclusive culture for both colleagues and customers, while being able to empower the team to provide great customer service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
