Tasks

  • Take full responsibility for managing and developing sera’s UK branch in Burton upon Trent.
  • Act as the official representative of sera in the UK market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, financial performance, budget planning, and reporting in close cooperation with headquarters in Germany.
  • Lead the entire UK team, ensuring efficient processes, collaboration, and motivation across all functions.
  • Represent sera at trade fairs, industry events, and towards customers, partners, and institutions.
  • Develop long-term strategies for market positioning and sustainable growth in the UK.

Requirements

  • You are an experienced Branch Manager, Country Manager, General Manager, or similar with a proven track record in leading a business unit or subsidiary within the B2B engineering environment.
  • Ideally, you combine strong commercial expertise with solid experience in managing operations, budgets, and compliance.
  • You bring demonstrated leadership skills in guiding teams, setting clear objectives, and creating a dynamic and communicative work culture.
  • Entrepreneurial, structured, and results-oriented, you are capable of developing long-term strategies while ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • With an interest in technical products and processes, you can act as a trusted representative of the company in front of customers, partners, and institutions.
  • Based in Burton upon Trent or nearby, you are willing to travel across the UK and occasionally to Germany, representing sera at both operational and executive level.
  • Previous experience in international environments or established contacts with German companies will be considered a strong advantage.
