Branch Manager Trainee
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Role: Full Time | Permanent

We’re looking for an ambitious Branch Manager Trainee who wants more responsibility, genuine career progression and the chance to develop into a Branch Manager. You don’t need experience in this industry – what matters is your ability to lead people, deliver outstanding customer service and thrive in a busy operational environment.
This is a hands-on Branch Manager Trainee position where you’ll learn every aspect of running a successful branch. From leading a team and driving sales to managing day-to-day operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience, you’ll receive structured training while taking on increasing responsibility as your confidence grows.
The Role
As a Branch Manager Trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced managers to develop the commercial, operational and leadership skills needed to run your own branch in the future.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy branch
- Leading, motivating and developing a customer-facing team
- Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer queries
- Managing bookings, administration and operational activity
- Monitoring branch performance, workflow and service standards
- Driving sales and identifying opportunities to grow revenue
- Building lasting relationships with customers
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, compliance and presentation
- Learning how to manage branch performance, profitability and commercial decisions
- Taking on greater responsibility as part of your development programme

What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in people who enjoy leading teams and making things happen.
You’ll ideally have experience in a leadership role such as:
- Team Manager
- Trading Manager
- Shift Manager
- Department Manager
- Assistant Manager
- Duty Manager
- Supervisor ready for the next step
Experience within supermarkets, retail, hospitality, leisure, food retail or any other fast-paced customer-facing environment would be highly relevant.
You’ll also have:
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Commercial awareness and a desire to achieve results
- The ability to work at pace while managing multiple priorities
- A genuine ambition to build a long-term management career
- A Full UK Driving Licence
