Job Description
We are looking for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our team at Broxburn. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing business at a pivotal time, as our Broxburn branch is scheduled to relocate to Uphall in the near future.

This varied role offers plenty of opportunity to get involved in all aspects of branch operations, from serving customers and managing stock to supporting warehouse and yard activities.
No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in ensuring the branch operates efficiently, safely, and delivers the high standards of service our customers expect.
Your job
This role involves:
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Processing orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serving customers on the trade counter when required
- Customer interaction
- Delivery of goods using the company pick up when required

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Required:
- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Forklift truck licence
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Warehouse experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
