The Company

Digital Tonic is delighted to be working with a rapidly growing online retailer that has built an established customer base across the UK and internationally. The business operates within a fast-moving and highly competitive consumer market, working closely with a wide range of recognised manufacturers and brands.

The Role

We’re looking for a confident and highly organised Brand Account Executive to manage relationships with the manufacturers and brands sold through the website. You’ll work closely with each brand’s marketing team to understand how its products are performing, identify opportunities to increase visibility and create effective onsite advertising campaigns.

This could include homepage exposure, promotional banners, email marketing and other onsite placements. You’ll present these opportunities to brand partners, negotiate campaign costs and manage each campaign from the initial idea and commercial conversation through to delivery, reporting and performance analysis.

The role combines relationship management, campaign coordination and consultative sales. You’ll need to feel comfortable building relationships with different stakeholders, presenting ideas confidently and keeping several campaigns and conversations organised at once.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This position is initially being recruited to provide maternity cover, with a lengthy handover planned before the current employee begins their leave. This business is growing and has both the capacity and intention to create a permanent opportunity for someone who performs well. While a permanent position cannot be guaranteed at the outset, the business is not viewing this hire as a short-term stopgap.

Skills & Experience

This opportunity could suit a commercially minded graduate looking to begin their career, or someone who already has experience within account management, sales, customer service, marketing or eCommerce.

We’d love to speak with those who:

  • Are confident, friendly and naturally good at building relationships
  • Have excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Can manage several priorities, campaigns and stakeholder conversations
  • Feel comfortable presenting ideas and explaining their commercial value
  • Enjoy taking ownership of a project from initial conversation through to delivery
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are commercially curious and interested in campaign performance
  • Can use data to explain results and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Are happy to work from the Cosby office five days per week

You’ll also be entitled to your birthday off, generous annual leave entitlement, pension, and some fantastic company socials! We require you to be in the office 5 days a week, so please do not apply if you cannot fulfil that.
