Play a key role in driving the growth of Energizer's Batteries and Auto-Care categories in the UK market.

Working closely with the Senior Manager, Global Marketing Activation, you will contribute to annual brand planning and lead the execution of impactful marketing campaigns, consumer activations, product launches and retailer initiatives that drive growth. Partnering with Sales, Category Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Global Marketing and agency partners, you will help translate strategy into execution and deliver strong commercial results. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key UK marketing initiatives while working closely with senior leaders and global stakeholders across a dynamic international business.

Responsibilities

Universal Accountabilities

  • Provides input to strategy development and the annual marketing planning cycle to support business objectives in line with global direction.
  • Leads the day-to-day management of the product portfolio and associated execution activities in partnership with the Senior Manager.
  • Leads consumer activation plans in partnership with Global Marketing.
  • Coordinates and executes local marketing plans to deliver business objectives in line with global strategy.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of UK consumers, shoppers, customers, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Coordinate and execute integrated media campaigns and partnerships across multiple channels.
  • Manage agency partners across media, PR, social, creative, and events.
  • Partner with Sales and Category teams to develop retailer activation plans and customer presentations.
  • Leverage central visibility and communication assets while developing sales tools and materials to support retail activation across online and in-store channels.
  • Lead the execution of product launches, renovations and innovation commercialisation.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving Commercial, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, and Category teams.
  • Represent Marketing in cross-functional forums, leading relevant projects, initiatives, and business updates as required.
  • Monitor performance and recommend actions to maximise growth and ROI.
  • Manage marketing budgets and project timelines.

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in brand and digital marketing within FMCG organisations.
  • Understanding of shopper marketing and category management principles.
  • Experience supporting annual brand planning and activation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record delivering marketing communications campaigns.
  • Experience managing agency partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of brand building principles and the 4Ps.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience working in a matrix, international organisation.
  • Experience managing multiple agencies, including media, creative, PR, social and events.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, critical thinking, and results orientation.
