Brand Activation Manager

£40k - £50k DOE Manchester Full-time | Office-based

ThePlaceToBe are delighted to be working on a really exciting new opportunity for a creative marketer!

This is a role for someone who gets genuinely excited by big ideas, culture, creativity and creating moments people remember. You’ll have the freedom to contribute ideas, shape how the brand shows up and then actually see your work brought to life.

About the role...

This is a role with a huge amount of creative ownership. You’ll be involved in shaping how the brand shows up, spotting opportunities to create noise and helping turn those opportunities into things customers actually see, experience and talk about.

You’ll be working alongside a talented mix of creative, content, marketing and external agency partners, so collaboration is hugely important. They’re looking for someone who brings energy, has a strong point of view and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing day to day...

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Work across a genuinely varied mix of briefs, projects and opportunities
  • Get your hands dirty with the detail - you're not just presenting the idea, you'll be involved in making sure it happens
  • Work with a brilliant mix of internal and external creative talent, building relationships and getting the best from the people around you
  • Become a key part of the team, with the freedom to challenge, contribute and put your own stamp on the brand

About you...

You’ll also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities move quickly and campaigns need to land brilliantly.

What we're looking for...

  • Experience across creative, campaigns, brand, social, experiential or integrated marketing
  • A genuine creative instinct and ability to develop ideas that people want to talk about and share
  • Experience working with creative teams and briefing/managing external agencies or partners
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and stakeholders
