Brand Activation Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, FMCG food business as a Brand Activation Manager, leading the planning and execution of impactful shopper and brand activation campaigns across a diverse food portfolio. This newly created role offers the chance to shape activation strategy, drive key seasonal campaigns and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the business.

Our client is a growing PE-backed FMCG business operating within a highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. With ambitious plans for growth across UK Grocery, Independent and International channels, the business offers a unique opportunity for marketers who enjoy autonomy, ownership and the ability to make a visible impact.

Description

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Brand Activation Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering best-in-class activation campaigns across a portfolio of consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and managing annual activation plans across key consumer moments.
  • Creating integrated activation campaigns across retail, shopper marketing and social media touchpoints.
  • Working closely with Sales, Category and external agency partners to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Supporting innovation launches through compelling activation plans and path-to-purchase execution.
  • Bringing greater structure, discipline and planning rigour to the activation process.
  • Managing activation across Grocery and Independent channels.
  • Collaborating with creative and design teams to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Evaluating campaign performance and identifying opportunities to optimise future activity.
  • Supporting brand growth through effective customer and consumer activation programmes.

Profile

The successful Brand Activation Manager candidate will have:

  • Experience within Shopper Marketing, Brand Activation, Customer Marketing or Trade Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of UK Grocery and retailer activation.
  • FMCG experience, ideally within food or consumer goods categories.
  • Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
  • A highly proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • The confidence to operate independently and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Resilience and adaptability within a business where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Full UK right to work. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this position.
