About The Modernists

The Modernists is a next-generation private members network connecting people to a curated collection of exceptional spaces, cultural experiences and events across global cities. We exist to bring together a community of curious, creative and connected people through beautifully designed places and thoughtfully curated experiences.
As we expand across Europe, we are seeking a Brand Ambassador to help establish and grow The Modernists in London.

The Role

This is a city-building role. You will be responsible for growing The Modernists' presence in London through member onboarding, events and brand partnerships. You will act as the face of the club locally, working closely with the founders to shape the tone, community and commercial opportunities across the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Growth & Onboarding
    • Identify, introduce and onboard high-quality prospective members who align with The Modernists' values and profile.
    • Host introductions and act as a trusted point of contact for new members across London.
  • Events & Community
    • Plan and host intimate Modernists gatherings in London (dinners, salons, cultural experiences, talks — the more unique and ridiculous the better).
    • Build a strong sense of community and repeat engagement among members.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorship
    • Identify and onboard aligned brand partners across hospitality, lifestyle, automotive, fashion, finance and culture.
    • Support sponsorship conversations and introductions, working alongside the founding team.
  • Brand Representation
    • Represent The Modernists at relevant events and within your personal network.
    • Maintain brand standards, tone and discretion at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For

You are likely already doing this informally, and people naturally look to you to bring them together.

  • Well-connected across London in business, culture, hospitality or the creative industries
  • Comfortable hosting rooms and bringing people together
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of sponsorships and partnerships
  • Highly personable, discreet and trusted by your network
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong judgement and autonomy
  • Experience in memberships, events, hospitality or community-led brands is a plus

What's On Offer

  • Real autonomy to build the London chapter
  • Direct access to the founders and genuine strategic input
  • Performance-based compensation across member onboarding, sponsorships and events
  • Visibility within an international members' network
  • A clear opportunity to grow into a full-time or regional leadership role

Why This Role Is Interesting

This is a rare opportunity to build a city, not just join a role.
You'll have real autonomy to shape The Modernists in London, from the members you onboard to the events you host and the partners you bring in. If you already connect interesting people, host great rooms and understand how culture, business and community intersect, this role gives you a platform to do it at scale.

There's no corporate hierarchy here. You'll work directly with the founders, have genuine influence over the direction of the London chapter, and be rewarded based on impact rather than time spent.

If you're already doing this informally in your life, this simply turns it into something meaningful, visible and commercially rewarding.
