Job Description
Job Title: Brand Ambassador & Design Sales Manager
Reporting To: Head of Premium & Kitchen Retail Channel
Role Purpose
The London Brand Ambassador & Sales Manager is the representative of AGA and La Cornue within the Divertimenti shop-in-shop. This role blends luxury retail, business development, and brand ambassadorship, driving direct-to-consumer sales while also cultivating influential relationships across London’s interior design, culinary, and lifestyle communities.
The role exists to elevate AGA and La Cornue’s presence in the capital, embody the brands’ heritage and craftsmanship, and create meaningful connections that convert into long-term advocacy and commercial growth. It requires a confident, polished communicator who can navigate high-profile environments, manage multiple projects, and bring the brands to life through storytelling and interactive product experiences.
Please note that this role is based in the Divertimenti London Store and will require flexible working over 7 days a week including evenings and weekends.
Key Accountabilities
Luxury Sales & Customer Experience
- Deliver a warm, personalised, hospitality grade experience to every visitor.
- Confidently demonstrate AGA and La Cornue products hands-on, showcasing features, benefits, craftsmanship, and lifestyle appeal.
- Manage the full direct-to-consumer sales process, from consultation to specification to close.
- Achieve commercial targets through exceptional service and relationship-building.
- Provide expert guidance tailored to cooking style, interior design schemes, and renovation journeys.
- Handle VIP and high-profile clients with discretion, confidence, and an impeccable level of service.
Business Development & Designer Community Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with London’s interior designers, architects, chefs, and culinary partners.
- Represent AGA and La Cornue at industry events, launches, and networking gatherings, this may often be during evenings and weekends.
- Develop a strong presence within the design community, positioning AGA and La Cornue as the preferred brands for premium kitchen projects.
- Proactively generate leads through relationship building, referrals, and community engagement.
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of designer and influencer relationships, with regular follow-ups and tailored touchpoints.

Brand Ambassadorship & Industry Expertise
- Embody the AGA and La Cornue brands through tone of voice, presentation, and product passion.
- Stay ahead of trends in cooking, interiors, colour, materials, and luxury lifestyle.
- Communicate with the credibility, nuance, and expertise expected by designers, chefs, and high-end home renovators.
- Bring the brands to life through storytelling and curated interactive product experiences.
- Act as the London voice of the brand, sharing insights and opportunities with HQ teams and executing the central strategy.
Events, Demonstrations & Cookery School Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with the Divertimenti Cookery School team to plan and host premium cooking demonstrations and events for clients, designers, and press/influencers.
- Coordinate logistics, guest lists, and follow-up to maximise commercial impact.
- Represent AGA and La Cornue at cookery school events, ensuring the brands are showcased with excellence.
- Use events as a platform to build relationships, generate leads, and deepen brand engagement.
Organisation, Communication & Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including designer collaborations, events, and customer journeys.
- Communicate clearly, promptly, and professionally with customers, designers, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales documentation, and follow-up routines.
- Work with creatives, perfectionists, and high expectation clients with patience, clarity, and professionalism.

Retail Standards & Corporate Compliance
- Ensure the AGA and La Cornue shop-in-shop space reflects luxury retail standards at all times.
- Follow all AGA corporate retail policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate stock, merchandising, and product presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, security, and operational routines within the Divertimenti environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Strong experience in luxury interiors, premium kitchen design, or high-end home/lifestyle retail.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: ability to work independently as the sole brand representative in the space.
- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with designers, architects, influencers, or VIP clients.
- Confident presenter with the ability to bring product to life.
- Commercially astute with a track record of achieving targets.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills: articulate, warm, and credible in high-end environments.
- Comfortable attending events including evenings and weekends.
Desirable
- A genuine love of AGA and La Cornue with a passion for cooking.
- Existing network within London’s interior design or culinary community.
- Experience working with creative professionals and discerning clients.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
- Understanding of luxury brand storytelling and experiential retail.
