NHS Supply Chain: Food | Foodbuy

Field Based / Mobile | UK Travel Required

Be the Face and Voice of NHS Supply Chain: Food

Foodbuy is one of the UK's leading food procurement organisations, managing over £2bn of spend and supporting a diverse range of clients through market-leading procurement solutions. As part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, we combine scale, expertise and innovation to deliver outstanding value, insight and service.

At NHS Supply Chain: Food, we put the NHS at the heart of everything we do. Through trusted partnerships, procurement expertise and a deep understanding of healthcare catering and foodservice operations, we help NHS organisations deliver safe, efficient and sustainable food solutions.

We are now looking for an engaging and commercially minded Brand Ambassador to help strengthen our presence across the NHS, champion our proposition and create meaningful connections with customers, stakeholders and industry partners.

The Role

This is a highly visible and influential position that will act as the voice of both the customer and the brand. Working closely with our Operations, Account Management, Procurement and Marketing teams, you will be responsible for driving engagement, enhancing brand awareness and supporting commercial growth across NHS Supply Chain: Food.

You'll represent the organisation at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions and conferences while gathering valuable market intelligence and customer insight that helps shape future campaigns, communications and engagement strategies.

This role would suit an ambitious relationship-builder with strong communication skills, a passion for customer engagement and the confidence to represent a nationally recognised organisation within the healthcare and foodservice sectors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
