Brand & Category Managers | Consumer Sector

A fast-growing consumer business is expanding its Marketing and Insights teams and is looking to hire two commercially-minded professionals to join at a pivotal time of growth and transformation.

Location: Reading, UK
Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

Brand Managers

  • Contribute to end-to-end brand strategy and positioning, translating it into integrated 360° activation plans across ATL, BTL, digital, PR, and e-commerce
  • Own day-to-day brand execution, ensuring consistency across all consumer and customer touchpoints
  • Manage Brand P&L and A&P budgets with a disciplined, ROI-driven approach
  • Lead regular brand performance reviews using sell-out data, retailer insights, and digital analytics
  • Drive NPD/EPD projects from concept through to launch readiness
  • Act as brand project lead across Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Medical, Finance, and external agencies

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years' experience in Consumer Manufacturing industries - CPG, Personal Care, Health
  • Strong early commercial acumen

Category Managers

  • Build and independently manage category partnerships with key customers, backed by objective market and competitor insight
  • Deliver commercially focused recommendations on range reviews, assortment, retail formats, and e-commerce
  • Develop best-in-class category and shopper insight, including loyalty card data and purchase drivers
  • Define and track category KPIs, integrating EPOS, category, and shopper data with range and planogram analysis
  • Build compelling, insight-led category narratives to influence customer decision-making
  • Support delivery of commercial priorities alongside Account Managers
