VisitScotland Brand and Design Manager

The Brand and Design Manager is a key middle management role reporting to the Senior Brand & Design Lead. The post holder leads and inspires a team of up to six designers, shaping the art direction across our design portfolio and ensuring every output is insight-driven, accessible, of a consistently high quality, and distinctly on-brand.
The core responsibilities of this role include evolving and managing our brand systems to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact across all touchpoints and leading by example to drive best practice within the design team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Working in close partnership with Creative Studio Operations and wider stakeholders, the role also helps to prioritise design workloads, optimise processes, and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality, strategically aligned creative work.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to balance strategic design leadership with hands-on delivery when required. The post holder will advocate for, provide, and facilitate design excellence across the organisation.
