This is an opportunity to take the marketing lead for a growing, multi-site hospitality group with a collection of established and distinctive venues across the North of England.

The business is ambitious, commercially focused and continuing to expand. Rather than operating under one uniform brand, its venues have their own personalities, audiences and reasons to visit, creating an interesting challenge for an experienced hospitality marketer.

They are now looking for a Brand and Marketing Director who can bring those brands to life, build demand and help shape the next stage of growth.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Group-wide brand and marketing strategy across multiple hospitality concepts
  • Leadership, development and growth of the in-house marketing team
  • Campaigns that drive footfall across core trading periods and key events
  • Brand positioning and consistency across digital and physical guest touchpoints
  • End-to-end marketing strategy for new venue openings
  • PR, media, agency and external partner relationships
  • Marketing support for reservations, events and sales
  • Marketing systems, processes, performance reporting and measurement
  • Close collaboration with Operations, Sales and senior leadership on commercial priorities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

Sitting within the senior leadership team, you will own the marketing direction across the group and lead a growing in-house team. This is not a purely strategic position. You will need to be equally comfortable setting the direction and making things happen: from driving footfall during key trading periods and creating standout events campaigns, through to protecting individual brand identities and launching new venues. Commercial performance will sit at the heart of the role. You'll work closely with Operations, Sales and the Board to understand where the opportunities are and develop marketing activity that translates into reservations, visits, revenue and long-term brand growth.

You will already have operated at a senior marketing leadership/Director level within multi-site hospitality and understand the commercial realities of driving demand across a venue portfolio. Importantly, you will have experience working with multiple distinct brands, rather than simply rolling out one proposition across multiple locations.
