At CVS Veterinary Group

Our purpose is to provide the best possible care to animals. Our vision is to be the veterinary company people most want to work for.

We are an international integrated veterinary services provider which delivers to clients through four business areas; our veterinary practices, diagnostic laboratories and e-commerce division. Our success is derived from the passion our people have for animals and for making pets a priority, it's what is at the heart of our work, every day.

The Role

We're looking for a Brand and Marketing Manager to join us on an initial 6 Month FTC. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns and brand activity across CVS Group. Reporting to the Senior Brand and Marketing Manager, the role ensures campaigns are executed effectively across all channels, stakeholders are engaged throughout delivery, and performance insights are used to optimise results.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, data-driven and commercially minded individual, with experience managing campaigns, stakeholders and external suppliers. This role plays a key part in bringing the CVS Vets brand to life across practices and customer touchpoints.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, CRM, print and in-practice channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Coordinate national and local marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are executed on time, on brand and to a high standard.
  • Partner with Digital teams to align marketing activity across SEO, PPC, paid social and content channels.
  • Act as a guardian of the CVS brand, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, PR, Digital, Data and practice teams to support successful campaign delivery.
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and meet agreed objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics and provide insights and recommendations to optimise future activity.
  • Support customer communications and CRM programmes, using data and segmentation to improve targeting and engagement.
  • Coordinate marketing collateral, print production and operational marketing activities to support business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal governance standards, while identifying opportunities to improve marketing processes and ways of working.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
