The Department
Mishcon de Reya is one of the UK's best-known law firms and one of B2B's best known brands. From featuring in The Crown, to Gina Miller, to Boris Johnson making jokes in parliament, it is a brand that has entered wider culture and punches significantly above its weight.
Our tagline is "It's Business. But it's personal." signaling our private client heritage, our total commitment to clients and the importance of brilliant people. Our firm has been built with this high-touch entrepreneurial approach and our revenue has grown 40% in the last five years.
The Mishcon brand and our marketing approach have been a significant driver of growth. This, along with inventive, resourceful lawyers growing their own practice areas has been the bedrock of our success, and the basis for bringing new clients into the firm.
Our marketing exists to drive positive brand and expertise perception through integrated paid, owned and earned activity. We are unusual for a law firm in that we prize creativity and boldness and invest meaningfully in advertising and paid partnerships.

Responsible for the day-to-day stewardship of the Mishcon brand and delivery of key marketing campaigns, the role will ensure our marketing activity is consistently executed to a high standard across every touchpoint.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
