The Job in a Nutshell
The role is responsible for developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, commercial performance, and brand growth. Working across multiple teams, the Brand & Campaigns Manager ensures campaign activity, brand storytelling, and communications work together to strengthen BB&R's position as the world's most trusted fine wine and spirits merchant.

- External: Producers, PR agency, external agencies, and partners
What You Will Do
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Coordination and project management for all En Primeur, in bond, and retail campaigns, across all channels (incl. in store), for wines and spirits. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting overall direction for campaigns, including audience targeting, key messaging, comms plans, and briefing these into respective teams.
- Owning the customer’s experience of the campaign from end-to-end.
- Measuring success through campaign reviews and feeding back learnings into other team members.
- Keeping senior stakeholders up to date and managing sign offs.
- Overseeing and helping to run EP tastings at internal and external venues, ensuring these exceed customer expectations.
- Owning and creating the overall promotional calendar that details all Customer, Producer, and Brand activities, working with various teams and channel managers.
- Organisation and management of monthly marketing activity to ensure the commercial and marketing teams are aligned, and we have a well-balanced communications plan each month that will deliver commercially.
- Support the ongoing development and evolution of the BB&R brand, ensuring it remains relevant, distinctive, and customer-focused.
- Act as a champion of the BB&R brand, ensuring it is represented consistently and effectively across marketing activity, communications, and customer experiences, both onsite and offsite.
- Support PR activity and external communications, ensuring alignment with wider brand and campaign objectives.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to ensure partnership activity is aligned to marketing priorities and fully integrated into campaign plans, content calendars, and customer communications.
- Champion spirits product marketing and lead on helping to grow the product category through a compelling marketing plan.
- Overseeing the Events, London, and Basingstoke shop annual strategy and supporting the marketing executives to implement the day-to-day marketing plans.
- Apply established brand standards across all owned marketing activity, working collaboratively with internal teams, agencies, and partners.
- Briefing creative teams and working collaboratively with them to develop reputation-building collateral.
- Ensuring that campaign and customer objectives are reflected in final outputs.
- Work closely with the Content team to ensure campaigns and brand stories are translated effectively across social media, identifying fresh and channel-appropriate ways to engage audiences.
- Monitor competitor activity and encourage building customer understanding so you and we stay ahead of trends and aware of how the market is evolving.
- Manage the Senior Marketing Executive, with a focus on mentorship and growth.
- Manage budget ensuring all costs for owned areas are accurately tracked, POs raised, and invoices paid.
- Supporting the FMV sales teams with occasional support with creating sales materials to promote producers.
- Leading the communications plan for sustainability initiatives through marketing.

What You Will Bring to the Role
Your Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours
- Knowledge of how to create and implement seamless and cohesive customer journeys across print, digital, and events to achieve specific customer objectives.
- Innate understanding of our discerning audience’s mindset and expectations, including solid awareness and/or experience of other brands in the luxury space.
- Knowledge of the fine wine market, including key regions, terminology, and customer behaviours and expectations.
- Solid awareness of competitors and trends in the fine wine and spirits market, both in the UK and globally.
- Strong intuition on how creative assets come together to communicate key messages in an engaging and intelligent way, which is appropriate for BB&R.
- Excellent communication skills influencing both junior and senior colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external agencies.
- Highly collaborative and diplomatic.
- Ability to make sound judgments given limited information and knowing when to ask for guidance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in a flexible manner, sometimes out of usual office hours, to support events or achieving deadlines.
- High-functioning, proactive individual who can handle stressful situations.
- Ability to inspire and motivate other colleagues internally, both within the wider marketing team and across all practice areas.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach, being ready to get stuck in and pick things up quickly.
- Understanding of the customer behaviour and analytics used to make decisions.
- Ability to rapidly pivot from one project to the next, work well under pressure, and manage deadlines.
- Good commercial aptitude.
- Strong people skills, ability to create rapport and good working relationships.
- Supportive and nurturing manager, with experience mentoring junior professionals.
- Good knowledge of Excel functions for data manipulation (mailing sends, customer data, etc).
- Strong budget management skills and understanding.
