Job Description
About the role
The Brand & Commercial Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in the marketing team and ensure that brand integrity is maintained across everything we do. Requiring excellent stakeholder management and campaign management skills, they will work with other members of the marketing team, including Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), to create, manage, and execute on multi-channel marketing campaigns across the ScriptRunner suite of products.
As a brand guardian, they will focus on protecting the brand integrity and consistency of outputs across the marketing spectrum, on project managing work which contributes to our brand goals, and on driving the standard for brand excellence at all times.
This wide-ranging role will also be responsible for supporting the Brand & Commercial Lead in planning, establishing, delivering, and optimizing the commercial marketing & brand strategy. This will require an understanding of technical products and the SaaS market, strong project management skills, and a customer-first mindset.
The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
What you'll be doing
Brand & Commercial Strategy Support
- Collaborate with the Brand & Commercial Lead to assist in developing and implementing brand & commercial strategies.
- Facilitate internal enablement and collaboration among team members to align with commercial objectives.
- Contribute to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives to improve marketing performance.
Commercial Project Management
- Work closely with the Brand & Commercial Lead and Digital Agency support to implement the paid media strategy, leading the day-to-day digital marketing efforts, including campaign setup, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Take an active role in commercial projects, ensuring their successful execution and timely delivery.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotions and incentives to drive customer acquisition.

Ownership of Campaign Delivery
- With the support of our Digital Marketing agency implement paid media campaigns across the product suite, including managing the entire process from start to finish.
- Create forms and email workflows in HubSpot to support lead generation and nurturing.
- Work alongside other team members to build audiences in HubSpot for effective campaign targeting.
- Build Landing Pages in our CMS to support marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Manage ticketing process for creative and digital work with external teams, collaborating to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
- Obtain necessary sign-offs through appropriate channels to ensure compliance and alignment.
- Act as a liaison between members of the ScriptRunner team to gather inputs for developing marketing activities.
Collaboration and Guidance
- Work closely with other members of the ScriptRunner Marketing team, following guidance and instructions to set up and schedule well-thought-out marketing campaigns.
- Provide advice and best practices to optimize campaigns and improve their effectiveness.
- Proactively run projects and campaigns, creating clear briefs for external agencies/teams.
- Conduct tests and provide input into strategic decisions to drive marketing success, such as testing new channels and approaches to reach new audiences and drive growth.
Brand Management
- Own and drive the ScriptRunner brand strategy, including ownership and development of brand level campaigns, developing the brand bible, and bringing new branding opportunities to the table.
- Brand guardianship, reviewing/monitoring outputs (videos, creative assets, presentations, etc.) to ensure consistency and integrity of the ScriptRunner brand.
- Management of branded asset libraries and asset distribution (internally and externally).
- Monitor/measure brand awareness and sentiment, etc., and manage activity to positively impact brand metrics.
- Own and drive the processes to develop brand position for new products and opportunities.
- Manage 3rd party agencies and partners for timely execution of deliverables.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- Experience managing day-to-day relationships with a digital marketing agency, and strong knowledge of paid digital marketing channels and techniques. Such as proficiency with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Campaign optimisation & Website CRO.
- Experience with campaign optimization across paid adverts and strong background of using data to make informed changes to optimize campaigns.
- Strong brand management background with experience of brand development and guardianship.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in audience segmentation and targeting using HubSpot or similar tools.
- Familiarity with building Landing Pages and managing brief tickets for creative/digital work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between team members.
- Deep understanding of how to use B2B marketing tactics and best practice to drive leads.
- Excellent copywriting.
- Proactive and self-driven, capable of running projects and campaigns independently.
- Strong analytical skills to track campaign performance and provide data-driven insights.

- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience working with complex technical products and the SaaS industry.
- Experience taking new products to market and understanding the appropriate marketing channels at different stages of the product life cycle.
- Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot for email marketing and workflow creation.
- Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Attest for survey creation and Hotjar/Optimizely for website optimization.
- Basic image and video editing skills.
- Experience in social media scheduling and management.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
