Who we are

Trifast PLC is a leading international specialist in the design, engineering, manufacture, and distribution of high-quality industrial fastenings and Category 'C' components principally to major global assembly industries. It supplies to some 5,000 customers in 75 countries worldwide, serving a range of industries including Automotive, Smart Infrastructure, Medical, General Industrial and Distributors.

The Role

The Brand & Communications Assistant will support the planning, development, and delivery of integrated communications campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engage stakeholders, and drive business growth. This role combines creative content creation, digital marketing, event coordination, and internal/external communications.

Key tasks

Content Creation:

  • Produce creative assets such as videos, animations, graphics, and promotional materials
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and social media.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Assist in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media).
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, ROI, and competitor activity.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage and create video content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and schedule posts.
  • Support AI SEO and email marketing initiatives.
  • Administration of corporate website.

Communications:

  • Draft internal communications including newsletters and intranet updates.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Events & PR:

  • Organise and promote events, exhibitions, and webinars.
  • Liaise with media outlets and prepare press releases.

Administration:

  • Manage requisitions and purchase orders and track external spend.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, printers, and suppliers.

The Candidate

We are looking for a creative and results-driven communications professional with strong experience in digital content creation and campaign management. You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro, or equivalent creative software, with experience in filming and producing original content being highly desirable.

You will have a proven track record of delivering successful social media campaigns that have grown audience engagement, increased followers, and driven measurable calls to action. Experience developing and delivering communications strategies across a range of channels, including social media, external PR, and internal communications, is essential.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. You will be confident using Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms, with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance to inform future activity.

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree or CIM Certificate in Marketing Communications, or related field (or equivalent demonstrable career experience).
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a marketing or communications role (B2B or B2C).
  • Experience in content creation and social media management.
