About the Role
The Brand & Content Executive is instrumental in delivering Crabtree & Crabtree’s content marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing (HOM), the Brand & Content Executive is responsible for delivering aspects of the marketing plan, ensuring the website content is optimised to drive sales, creating promotional campaigns, CRM activity, managing branded collateral, creating copy and content for use in traditional, digital and social media channels, and supports managing PR activity, events and press visits. The Brand & Content Executive is responsible for reporting on the performance of marketing activity and the commercial performance of the business on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities & Outputs
- Support the Head of Marketing in developing and delivering a content strategy that increases website traffic, social engagement, brand awareness, and bookings.
- Create, schedule, and optimise content across digital channels, ensuring all activity aligns with the brand, tone of voice, and business objectives.
- Act as brand guardian, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all customer-facing communications and marketing materials.
- Own guest and owner email marketing programmes, including content creation, testing, deployment, performance analysis, and optimisation.
- Manage and optimise website content, user experience, and SEO performance, working closely with digital marketing partners to ensure the site remains current, effective, and technically healthy.
- Support the planning and delivery of the annual marketing calendar, campaigns, and promotional activity.
- Support the Business Development team with new property onboarding, coordinating copywriting, imagery, website listings, and launch activity in line with agreed deadlines and SEO best practice.
- Manage and maintain the company asset library, providing marketing materials, imagery, and content for internal teams, PR activity, and third-party partners.
- Create and coordinate marketing collateral, both digital and print, ensuring all guest, owner, and business communications remain accurate and up to date.
- Support the management of social media channels, including content publishing, community engagement, and responding to reviews, enquiries, and messages.
- Provide day-to-day marketing administration and copywriting support across the business.
- Coordinate PR activity, press visits, and media opportunities, working with external agencies to ensure integrated and effective communications. (maternity cover period until Q2 2027)
- Develop and manage brand partnerships, local collaborations, and joint marketing initiatives that extend brand reach and support commercial objectives. (maternity cover period until Q2 2027)
- Oversee the Experiences portfolio and maintain the “Little Black Book” directory, ensuring recommendations, itineraries, and guest information remain relevant and current. (maternity cover period until Q2 2027)
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of content, email marketing, PR, partnerships, and campaign activity, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

- First class written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong experience with Canva and basic level with InDesign.
- Good knowledge and experience of WordPress.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to achieve agreed deadlines.
- Solutions oriented, with intuitive problem solving and analytical abilities.
