About Medly AI
We're the fastest growing EdTech startup in London, on a mission to change education forever.
This is a moment where AI-native companies are reshaping entire industries, from Cursor in code, to Midjourney in image generation, to Harvey in law. Medly is building that company for education.
Since launch, we've reached over 400,000 students with retention rates that beat Duolingo, and we've delivered personalised learning with real results. We're backed by impact-focused VCs and supported by partners including UCL, Innovate UK, Microsoft, and Google.
The role
We're looking for a Brand & Content Marketer to join our London team, full-time. You'll work directly alongside our founders and our growth team, owning how Medly sounds and shows up everywhere students see us.
This is a genuinely broad role. One week you're writing and shipping organic social content, the next you're running an influencer campaign, digging into what's working in the numbers, or getting a new experiment live. Marketing at Medly is fast, creative, and measured — we make things students actually want to watch and share, and we track whether they worked.
It's also a role with a clear path. As you grow, you'll take on more ownership of Medly's brand voice and content engine — the tone, the formats, and the rules that define how Medly talks to students everywhere. We want someone who starts by executing brilliantly and ends up shaping the system.
What you'll do
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Create and ship organic content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube: ideas, scripts, captions, and posting
- Design static assets in Figma (social graphics, paid creative, email and landing-page visuals) that look considered and on-brand
- Develop and protect Medly's brand voice across everything we publish
- Run influencer and UGC campaigns: finding creators, running outreach, tracking results
- Write across formats: social, email, landing pages, app store copy
- Run growth experiments end-to-end with the team, from idea to live to readout
- Dig into analytics to understand what's landing with students and what isn't, and turn that into next week's plan
- Keep a close eye on what students are saying, in comments and in the community, and feed it back into product and content
What we're looking for
- Early in your career: a recent graduate, or up to a few years in. This is a hands-on role with a lot of room to grow, rather than a senior or lead seat
- Freelance, client, or self-started marketing work done alongside your studies or early in your career: a channel you've grown, a brand you've helped, a society you've marketed. It tells us you can ship without being told to
- Native fluency in social platforms. You know why one TikTok works and another dies, and you can explain it
- Strong, fast writing: clear, warm, and adaptable across formats
- Some design ability: comfortable in Figma (or similar) making static assets, with genuinely good taste in layout, type, and attention to detail
- Comfortable with analysing data
- Genuine interest in education and how students actually learn

Bonus points
- An audience you've built yourself: a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, newsletter, or community with real numbers behind it
- Experience helping shape a brand voice or identity, not just individual posts
- Paid social or performance marketing exposure (Meta, TikTok, Google)
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects)
- Tutoring, teaching, or student-facing experience
- A point of view on how brands should talk to Gen Z, and who does it well
Right to work
You must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship. We're not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Who thrives here
- You care about quality and take pride in work that holds up under scrutiny
- You take initiative. If something looks off, you flag it or fix it
- You're happy doing the unglamorous parts well, because that's where the results come from
- Comfortable in a startup environment. Things move very quickly and priorities shift often
What you'll get
- Direct mentorship from our founders and growth team
- Hybrid setup: 4 days in our central London office, Wednesdays from home
- Real ownership of campaigns and channels used to reach hundreds of thousands of students
- Room to grow quickly, including into ownership of Medly's brand and content engine
