About Frontiers

At Frontiers, our purpose is simple yet ambitious: to make science open. We believe open science empowers the global scientific community to accelerate discovery and develop the solutions needed for healthy lives on a healthy planet.

We are one of the world's largest and most influential open-access research publishers. Every article we publish is peer-reviewed and quality-certified, ensuring research is accessible to everyone, everywhere. To date, Frontiers research has been viewed over 4 billion times, demonstrating the real-world impact of science without barriers.

Joining Frontiers means being part of a global, mission-driven organization at the intersection of science, technology, and innovation — working alongside passionate colleagues who care deeply about advancing knowledge for the benefit of society.

About The Role

We're looking for a Brand Content Specialist to join our Brand team and create compelling, human-centered content that strengthens Frontiers' brand and connects with our audiences. In this role, you'll develop content across video, web, social media, email, and other digital channels, with a particular focus on talking-head and first-person storytelling.

You'll turn complex ideas, experiences, and success stories into clear, engaging narratives that reflect Frontiers' established brand voice and messaging. Working closely with our in-house Motion Design and Creative teams, you'll develop video briefs and scripts, guide creative execution, and prepare team members, editors, authors, and other contributors to confidently tell their stories on camera.

Beyond video, you'll create and refine campaign copy, repurpose existing content across channels, and develop brand toolkits and training that help teams communicate consistently and effectively. You'll work with colleagues across Communications, Brand, Digital Marketing, Publishing Development, and Editorial, as well as external contributors and creative partners.

If you enjoy combining strong writing and editorial skills with creative thinking, working with people on camera, and finding new ways to make content engaging and effective, you'll thrive in this role.

You'll also contribute to improving Frontiers' content workflows by using digital tools, AI-powered technologies, and established brand playbooks to create content efficiently and consistently across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, engaging video briefs and scripts that guide in-house production teams in creating brand-aligned talking-head and first-person content
  • Source, edit, and refine testimonials, success stories, and other content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with Frontiers' brand voice
  • Identify and prepare on-camera contributors, including team members, executives, editors, authors, and researchers, coaching them to deliver authentic and engaging first-person stories
  • Act as the primary content partner for the in-house Motion Design team, briefing and guiding creative execution from concept through final delivery
  • Create engaging, brand-aligned content across web, social media, email, video, and internal channels
  • Write and edit compelling copy for campaigns, landing pages, content assets, taglines, and marketing materials while maintaining a consistent Frontiers brand voice
  • Repurpose and adapt existing content and video assets for different audiences, channels, and formats, extending the reach and value of key content
  • Develop brand toolkits, guidance, and training materials to help internal teams apply Frontiers' messaging and brand consistently
  • Manage content requests and tickets through Jira, prioritizing work and coordinating delivery with relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Communications, Brand, Digital Marketing, Publishing Development, Editorial, Creative, and Motion Design teams to deliver integrated content projects
  • Coordinate and provide creative direction to videographers, motion designers, freelancers, and other external production partners on assigned projects
  • Monitor content and digital trends and contribute ideas that improve audience engagement and the effectiveness of Frontiers' brand storytelling
  • Contribute to evolving brand playbooks, content processes, and best practices, helping teams create consistent, high-quality content efficiently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
