About the role
The purpose of this role is to bring Origin’s brand storytelling to life through compelling, nuanced and consistent copywriting. Working across product launches, campaigns, coffee communications and wider business storytelling to internal documents, you’ll help shape how we speak to our customers, team and the wider speciality coffee community.
What you'll do
- Develop campaign messaging, storytelling pillars, and launch briefs that bring brand campaigns to life.
- Champion and maintain Origin's tone of voice across all customer and brand communications.
- Collaborate with retail, wholesale, and e-commerce teams to create audience-focused messaging that supports commercial objectives.
- Adapt content across multiple channels while ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Review and refine customer-facing and internal communications, presentations, and brand materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Create engaging brand and coffee stories, translating technical information into compelling customer-focused content.
- Support the development of brand templates and communication tools.
- Ensure sustainability and B Corp messaging is communicated clearly, accurately, and responsibly.
- Provide thoughtful review and guidance on brand, sustainability, and campaign messaging.
- Write creative, engaging content tailored to different audiences and channels.
Who you are
- You’re a thoughtful and confident writer with a passion for brands, people and storytelling. You know how to take an idea and bring it to life, whether that’s shaping campaign messaging, telling the story of a coffee or refining a presentation.
- You have a strong feel for tone of voice and understand how to create communications that are consistent, engaging and true to our brand. You enjoy working with different teams and experts, turning insights and information into clear, accessible content.
- You’re collaborative, organised and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You have a keen eye for detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind, understanding how every piece of communication contributes to the wider Origin brand.
- You’re curious about the world beyond coffee, with an interest in sustainability, design, art, culture and the people we work with. A strong interest in, and understanding of, speciality coffee is an important part of the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
