About Symbiotic
Symbiotic is the infrastructure beneath collateral markets, where capital can secure financial obligations, remain productive, and be enforced by code.
By changing the economics of onchain collateral, Symbiotic enables new categories of neofinance applications that were previously impossible to build - including credit, insurance, RWA liquidity, and more.
As institutional capital increasingly moves onchain, Symbiotic is positioned to become the coordination layer connecting capital and risk across the onchain economy.
Backed by Paradigm, Pantera, Cyber.fund, and Coinbase Ventures, we power 80+ vaults, 74,000+ active stakers, and 111 operators - with Chainlink, Nexus Mutual, and Cap Labs among the teams live in production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Do
- Own visual output across brand, campaigns, web, social, and launch moments, from concept to shipped asset.
- Turn complex financial infrastructure and products into things people can actually see and understand.
- Set and hold the visual system as we scale, not just as a guideline doc, but as consistent, recognisable output across everything we ship.
- Support event and content collateral: Prepares high-impact visuals for Web3 conferences, whitepaper illustrations, and blog graphics.
- Optimize assets for Web3 platforms: Ensures designs are responsive for web3 wallets, mobile apps, and animated formats, while adhering to crypto-specific trends.
- Produce motion and 3D work where it earns its place: product explainers, launch films, conference presence.

Who You Are
- Fast and good, not one or the other. Most designers have one. You have both and you can walk us through the timeline on specific pieces in your portfolio: how long it took, what the deadline was, what you cut.
- Deep in one or two areas, competent across the rest. Strong in brand or motion or 3D, able to hold your own in the others.
- Self-directed. You've scoped, sequenced, and driven real projects without someone telling you the next step and made the calls yourself when the brief was ambiguous.
- Someone who pitches rather than asks permission. You bring a direction and argue for it.
- Unbothered by direct feedback. We're small, fast, and radically transparent with each other.
- Sitting on a portfolio with real range. You shipped work, not concepts, ideally something you took from nothing to live under time pressure.
Nice to have
- Crypto, fintech experience — enough that you're not learning what a protocol is on the job.
- In-house experience at an early-stage company.
- 3D or motion as a genuine strength rather than a passing familiarity.
