Job Title: Brand Designer
Location: London
About the Role
As a Brand Designer, you will be the creative architect of our visual identity. Rather than working within an existing system, you will build, evolve, and own the design system that enables the wider team to deliver consistent, high-quality work. You will blend strategic thinking with hands-on craft to ensure the brand is unmistakable across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Design System & Identity: Build and maintain the visual design system, including typography, color, iconography, motion language, and component libraries (in Frontify or similar).
- Brand Strategy: Translate brand positioning and target audience insights into a distinct visual language.
- Craft & Execution: Create original hero assets, key visuals, and campaign identities while maintaining master-level visual execution.
- Brand Governance: Review design work across the team, provide clear visual feedback, and safeguard visual integrity.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Educate and guide junior designers, partner with strategists, and explore new tools like AI-assisted workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
