What makes this a great opportunity?
The Brand Experience Executive will coordinate and deliver an exceptional brand experience for trade partners, media and internal stakeholders visiting our Scotch and Irish Distilleries. This role will also provide consultancy support to distillery brand homes, focussing on marketing and event planning initiatives.
Role Responsibilities

Brand Experience Programme Coordination
- Develop and manage a comprehensive Brand Experience programme for Suntory Global Spirits Scotch and Irish Distilleries.
- Coordinate logistics for trade, media and internal visits including travel, accommodation and on-site experiences that cater for both trade and travel trade audiences.
- Create engaging itineraries that showcase the brand’s rich heritage, craftsmanship, and product offerings.

Event Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop events that showcase the distilleries and products.
- Ensuring the successful execution of events, including budget management, vendor coordination and post-event evaluations.

Brand Experience Delivery
- Ensure a best-in-class brand experience for trade visitors, aligning with company values and brand messaging.
- Collaborate with distillery teams to enhance guest experiences through storytelling and interactive elements.
- Collect feedback from trade, media and internal partners to continually improve the BEP.

Consultancy Support
- Provide expert marketing and event planning consultancy to distillery brand homes.
- Assist teams in developing marketing strategies and event concepts that align with brand goals.
- Offer guidance on best practices for hosting events, including engagement tactics and measurement of success.

Travel Trade and Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with the travel trade sector to expand the brand’s reach and partnerships.
- Establish and nurture relationships with travel trade professionals and agencies, advocating for collaboration and partnership initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and develop proactive strategies.

Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with trade media partners, travel trade professionals, industry influencers, and distillery teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for trade visitor inquiries and communications.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.

Team Development
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the BEP, events and business development initiatives.
- Use data insights to make informed recommendations for future programmes, events and strategies.

Qualifications
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Events Management or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in event management, hospitality, brand marketing or business development.
- Proven track record in managing brand experience programmes or similar initiatives, with a focus on both trade, media and internal visits and the travel trade.
Personal Attributes:
- Passion for Scotch and Irish Whisk(e)y, with a keen understanding of industry trends.
- Creative thinker capable of developing innovative ideas and solutions.
- Committed to delivering high-quality experiences and services.
