Doughlicious – The London Dough Co.
Doughlicious – The London Dough Co. makes edible cookie dough with a playful, unmistakably London attitude. We're growing fast and want London to feel like it belongs to us — through the events people talk about, the partnerships that make sense, and the moments that get us noticed without a big-budget campaign.
We're looking for someone who lives at the intersection of field marketing and brand — not a pure events coordinator, and not a desk-bound brand manager either. This person finds and creates opportunities to put Doughlicious in front of Londoners in unexpected, talkable ways: pop-ups, sampling drops, partnerships, guerrilla stunts, community moments. They own the London activation calendar end to end — from idea, to plan, to execution, to what we learned — and they bring a brand-manager's instinct for consistency and story to everything they do on the ground.
Light up London
- Spot and pitch high-impact, scrappy ways to get Doughlicious in front of the right people — markets, festivals, pop-ups, student campuses, gyms, offices, cultural moments.
- Plan and run sampling activations and brand takeovers, from concept through on-the-day execution.
- Build a rolling London activation calendar, balancing always-on presence with bigger seasonal moments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Own local partnerships
- Identify and manage relationships with venues, event organisers, complementary brands, and community partners across London.
- Negotiate activation terms and manage the budget for each partnership or event within agreed limits.
Bring brand thinking to the ground game
- Make sure every activation looks, sounds, and feels unmistakably Doughlicious — briefing in freelancers, promo staff, and suppliers as needed.
- Work with the brand/social team to capture and amplify activations as content — this role is as much about the story after the event as the event itself.
- Feed insights from the field (what resonates, what doesn't, competitor activity) back into wider brand and marketing planning.
Measure and report
- Set clear goals for each activation (reach, sampling numbers, sell-through, social pickup) and report on what worked.
- Manage a field marketing budget responsibly, tracking spend against ROI.
What Success Looks Like
- A London activation calendar that's consistently full of relevant, on-brand moments — not just reactive one-offs.
- Partnerships that keep renewing because they worked for both sides.
- Content and buzz from activations that outlasts the event itself.
- A visible, growing sense that Doughlicious is "everywhere" in London — without a paid-media budget to match.

What we're looking for
- 2-3 years' experience in field marketing, brand marketing, events, or a similar hands-on marketing role — FMCG, food & drink, or D2C brand experience is a strong plus.
- A self-starter who can take a vague brief ("light up London") and turn it into a concrete, budgeted plan.
- Comfortable owning a budget and negotiating with venues, partners, and suppliers.
- Sharp instinct for brand and tone of voice — knows what looks and feels like Doughlicious.
- Genuinely plugged into London culture — knows the markets, the pop-ups, the scenes worth being part of.
- Happy working irregular hours around events (evenings/weekends as needed), with flexibility the rest of the week.
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable transporting kit/stock to activations (or willing to obtain one).
Nice to Have
- Existing little black book of London venues, event organisers, or complementary brands.
- Experience running paid or organic social content off the back of live activations.
- Basic design skills (Canva or similar) for quick activation assets.
