Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insight?
We’re looking for a Brand Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced Brand Finance team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial Planning, Sales and Finance, helping them understand brand performance and make informed, value-adding decisions.
This is a highly visible opportunity to influence both short and long-term plans, support exciting product innovation and contribute to the continued growth of our UK branded business.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a trusted finance business partner to Category Marketing Directors, Senior Brand Managers and Commercial Planning
- Analysing branded performance and clearly communicating insights to senior leadership teams
- Supporting short-term forecasting, budgeting and longer-term strategic planning
- Monitoring consumer marketing spend against agreed budgets
- Identifying financial challenges and recommending actions to improve performance
- Supporting category teams to identify margin improvement opportunities
- Evaluating and signing off costings for new and existing product development
- Challenging the key assumptions behind innovation plans and KPIs
- Supporting category teams throughout the innovation gate process
- Building effective relationships across Marketing, Sales, Commercial Planning, Manufacturing and Finance
- Championing simpler, more effective processes across the wider Brand Finance team

What we’re looking for
- A CIMA, ACCA or ACA-qualified finance professional
- A commercial or analytical background
- Strong business-partnering skills and the confidence to build relationships across different functions
- The ability to challenge and influence appropriately at all levels
- The confidence to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations
- The ability to manage ambiguity and solve complex problems
- Strong Excel skills, with experience of SAP, Business Objects or similar analytical tools being beneficial
