Brand & Growth Manager (Marketing & Content)
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Reports to: Founder & Managing Director
Help us build one of the UK’s most exciting hospitality brands.
Most marketing jobs ask you to manage social media. Here we want you to help build a brand.
Portfolio is home to the UK’s first Champagne boutique, an intimate bar, and one of Manchester’s most exciting new restaurants, showcasing over 350 grower Champagnes from some of the region’s most inspiring producers, alongside a tasting menu restaurant recently launched by acclaimed chef Julian Pizer.
But we’re only just getting started. Our ambition is to become one of the UK’s most admired hospitality brands and a globally recognised name within the world of Champagne.
To help us get there, we’re looking for an exceptional Brand & Growth Manager.
You’ll work directly with our Directors to grow the business through outstanding storytelling, exceptional content, and commercially focused marketing. From increasing restaurant reservations and building wholesale relationships to filming in Champagne and launching new campaigns, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Portfolio.
You will become one of the key people responsible for growing Portfolio Hospitality Group.
Purpose of the Role
To build the Portfolio brand while delivering measurable commercial growth across the business.
You’ll generate demand for our restaurant, bar, events, retail offering, wholesale distribution, and online store by creating compelling stories, exceptional content, and impactful marketing campaigns.
Ultimately, your role is simple: Bring more people through our doors and make Portfolio impossible to ignore.
What You’ll Own
Brand
Become the guardian of the Portfolio brand.
Ensure every touchpoint reflects our positioning, from photography and design to language, campaigns, and guest communications.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
