  • Proven success in pharmaceutical product management or marketing of prescription-only medicines.
  • Current experience of UK primary and/or secondary care markets.

  • Financial management skills, including budgets, business cases and return on investment analysis.
  • Strong influencing and matrix leadership skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders, including the UK Leadership Team and regional and global leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong project management and prioritisation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and systems such as SAP, eProcure, ETMS and Veeva PromoMats.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, and a valid passport and UK driving licence for regular travel within the UK, Europe and internationally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Useful, But Not Essential

  • Knowledge of the relevant therapy area and competitors, and an appreciation of NHS structures and strategic direction.
  • Experience as, or readiness to train as, a commercial signatory and AQP final form checker.

What You’ll Do

As Brand Champion for your designated brands, you will be the go-to expert on clinical data, market dynamics, positioning, source of business and key messages. You will:

  • Deliver the plan on budget, tracking performance and return on investment and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop or localise campaigns across field, multichannel, advertising and PR channels, alongside non-promotional activity such as medical education, patient support materials and disease awareness.
  • Brief and train the field force, including new sales colleagues, and adjust direction quickly when the market shifts.
  • Stay close to customers through field visits, congresses and market research.
  • Make sure every material and briefing meets the ABPI Code of Practice, GDPR, local regulations and Novo Nordisk SOPs – including not promoting products on the Northern Ireland MHRA Authorised Route (NIMAR) list in Northern Ireland.

You will also manage agencies and vendors.

Beyond the UK, you will work with Regional and Global colleagues and attend above-country meetings, raising the profile of UK performance. Externally, you will engage healthcare professionals and stakeholders across the NHS.

What You Can Expect Here

You will own the brand and be trusted to make the decisions that move it forward. Your voice shapes the strategy – and once the team decides, you lead delivery at pace.
