ABOUT AVANT ARTE
Avant Arte is a curated platform connecting the world’s leading artists and public arts institutions with a new generation of enthusiasts, collectors and patrons. We collaborate with the most exciting contemporary artists such as Ai Weiwei, Mickalene Thomas, Maurizio Cattelan and Jenny Holzer to create limited editions of the highest quality, from prints and sculptures to digital works.
Our global community of over 4 million collectors and art enthusiasts reflects the growing energy and curiosity of a new generation transforming how art is discovered and supported. Together with leading museums and institutions, we develop fundraising collaborations that strengthen public access to art and engage the new generation of patrons who will shape its future. Make-Ready, our North London print studio, is the largest fine art silkscreen printmaker in the world.
Our mission is to make discovering and collecting art more accessible, connecting artists, institutions and audiences in meaningful ways that expand art’s reach and impact.
OUR CULTURE
We’re a small team with really big ambitions, both for what we want to achieve and also the environment we’re building. We want to create a company that remains thoughtful as we scale and tries to be genuinely progressive in how we operate. We want people to really own what they do and be given the autonomy and freedom to make mistakes, learn, and create something meaningful.
We all work incredibly hard because we really care about what Avant Arte is here to do – we’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, hungry to learn, and want to put their pride in our collective achievements.
We know that creating an inclusive environment that promotes and values diversity is critical if we want to build something with impact and meaning. We believe that having diversity in age, background, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective will make us an infinitely better company. We were shortlisted for Women in Tech’s Best Employer - Small Company and Best Benefits, and Otta’s top 100 startups to work at.
WHAT WE NEED
Avant Arte has built a distinctive position in the art world by working with some of the most important artists of our time and making their work accessible to a new generation of collectors.
Brand has become an increasingly important part of what comes next for Avant Arte. We have an opportunity to build a much stronger supply-side brand – strengthening our reputation across the art world, deepening relationships with our existing roster, and making Avant Arte a more compelling partner for the artists we want to work with next.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Until now, responsibility for our supply-side brand has been spread across the business, without one person accountable for bringing it together. We’re now looking for a Brand Lead to give it clear ownership and make Brand a much more deliberate part of our growth.
You’ll lead brand activity around the most important artists and moments in our programme, develop initiatives that create value for artists beyond individual releases, and build a stronger proposition for prospective and existing artist partners.
You’ll also oversee organic social, editorial and PR, ensuring Avant Arte shows up distinctively and continues to build its reputation and cultural relevance.
This is an exciting new role with significant scope to shape the next phase of Avant Arte’s brand and strengthen the role it plays in supporting our artist programme.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Brand building
- Take overall responsibility for building Avant Arte’s supply-side brand, working closely with the Artist team and senior leadership to strengthen our reputation with artists, galleries and institutions.
- Lead the planning of our most important artist and edition campaigns, focusing brand activity where it can have the greatest impact on artist relationships and future opportunities.
- Bring together social, editorial, PR and content around priority moments to deepen artist relationships, unlock new opportunities and build a cohesive brand programme.
- Lead the launch of the 2027 Collector Report, maximising its reach and influence across the art world.
- Develop a programme of institutional engagement between Collector Reports – from briefings and workshops to other formats that build Avant Arte’s profile and deepen relationships across the art world.
- Actively manage our external PR agency to increase the volume and quality of brand-building press we receive.
- Identify and develop new initiatives that strengthen Avant Arte’s reputation and create more reasons for artists, galleries and institutions to engage with us.
Artist relationships & programmes
- Lead relationship-building initiatives for key artists, developing distinctive programmes and new franchises that champion their wider practice beyond the editions we collaborate on.
- Evolve our digital exhibition proposition into a repeatable programme, working with the Artist team to identify opportunities, pitch artists and coordinate delivery.
- Together with the Artist team, identify and test new additions to our artist proposition – from publishing and promotional support to films, content and other relationship-building initiatives.
- Develop these propositions into a broader set of artist-facing initiatives that help attract new artists and deepen relationships with our existing roster.
- Work closely with Artist Relationship Managers, Content, Creative and other relevant teams to develop and deliver these initiatives.

- Oversee Avant Arte’s Instagram and other organic social channels as an important tool for building the Avant Arte brand, particularly with artists and the wider art world.
- Set the direction for organic social, growing Avant Arte’s reach and influence while reinforcing our reputation as a digital-first, culturally relevant brand.
- Drive the pace of content and format innovation, ensuring Avant Arte continues to show up distinctively on the platforms and feeds that matter.
- Manage and develop the Social Media Manager, helping them grow their strategic capabilities while maintaining clear channel ownership.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have strong creative judgement and a clear point of view on what makes a brand distinctive.
- You can turn brand ambition into clear priorities and programmes that people across the business can act on.
- You can look across a programme of artists and projects, identify the moments that matter most and focus brand activity where it can have the greatest impact.
- You understand how to build reputation and relationships over time, particularly with artists, galleries and institutions.
- You’re constantly looking for new ways to build cultural relevance through social, content, editorial, PR and programming.
- You can bring different teams together around an idea and drive it through to delivery.
- You’ve managed people before, supporting their development while giving them clear ownership and accountability.
You'll probably have
- Around 7+ years’ experience across brand, marketing, creative strategy or a related discipline.
- A background spanning several areas of brand building, such as organic social, content, editorial, PR, partnerships or brand programmes.
- Experience helping shape or build a brand, rather than only working within an established strategy.
- Experience in a culturally relevant, creative or consumer-facing business.
- Experience working with artists, creators or cultural organisations is a plus.
- A genuine interest in art and culture.
