Job Title
Brand Lead, Neuroscience, IBU Alliance Markets
Job Path: P path
Function: Marketing
Reporting to: CMO & COO, IBU Alliance Markets
Direct Report (subordinate): Individual contributor
Location: Alliance Markets Hub [South Africa, Egypt, UAE or UK]
Overall Job Purpose
Lilly's International Business Unit (IBU) Alliance Markets today comprise 19 partners (11 distribution-and-promotion and 9 distribution-only) covering 65+ countries and more than 30% of the world's population, across the SPECC, MENA, SAFSA-CIS and ASEAN regions. Under Lilly's Arm's-Length Principle, partners hold Marketing Authorization, distribute and promote Lilly's portfolio, and manage day-to-day commercial and HCP-facing execution in-market, while Lilly retains IP, sets supply price, and provides strategic and brand guidance.
As the Brand Lead, Neuroscience, IBU Alliance Markets, you will be Lilly's strategic anchor for the Neuroscience portfolio — including donanemab and future pipeline assets — across this Alliance footprint. You will strengthen strategic partnerships through disciplined alliance management, lead the Neuroscience portfolio agenda on behalf of Lilly, represent the brand to partners, provide strategic guidance upon request, and help ensure launch excellence for Neuroscience products across the Alliance.
You will build partner marketing capability in the Neuroscience therapeutic area and regularize 1:1 governance cadences with partner Brand/Marketing counterparts. Consistent with the Arm's-Length Principle, you will support — rather than direct — partners in the field, including on when and how to use market research, and, upon request, will help partners maximize portfolio growth by sharing Lilly's global Neuroscience experience and best practices. You will also recommend changes to internal procedures across regions to help partners comply with local regulations.

- Ensure ongoing communication from Lilly global Neuroscience teams is appropriately and promptly shared with partners so they remain current on global brand developments.
- Upon request, share product information with partners' medical, marketing and their trainers, and share Lilly's experience and learnings from prior Neuroscience product launches.
- Closely work with Regulatory and Medical teams to support and fast-track Neuroscience launches and life-cycle activities in Alliance countries.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

- Support partners in sharing initiatives that maximize the value of Neuroscience molecules with key reimbursement/formulary and HCP stakeholders, without assuming HCP-facing responsibilities that belong to the partner.
- Regularize 1:1 governance cadences with partner Brand/Marketing counterparts to maintain alignment on strategy, launch readiness and performance.
Measurement and Evaluation
- Deliver on revenue, APT (achievement to plan) and market share of the Neuroscience portfolio across Alliance partnership markets.

- Act in accordance with privacy and other internal and external procedures, the Alliance Playbook 3.0, and the highest ethical standards of Lilly and the communities where Lilly and its partners do business.
- Demonstrate Lilly values with a strong commitment to ethics & compliance, minimizing risk and ensuring no violations when working with partners, including in partners' use of Next-Generation Engagement Tools.
